This week is a little different in that we talk about the one thing we usually rail on, chain restaurants. Unfortunately as a comic, and non comic you can't always find a great hole in the wall during the day or late at night or traveling down the road so we hit on some of the chains that we enjoy eating at when we just absolutely have to. That being said, David still came out with a great story about a pizza place in Austin called Pour House Pints & Pies. Don't be fooled by the only one restaurant named, this is still a very funny and informative episode. Andy and David are back with another hilarious episode about comedy and food. David starts us out in Stillwater, OK where he has an amazing omelet at Granny's Kitchen. Andy then takes us to a delicious yet... odd barbecue restaurant in Memphis, TN where he had a great sandwich at Payne's BBQ. David then heads over to Colorado Springs, CO where he goes back to Bambino's Urban Pizzeria which has changed completely but is still awesome. And finally you have to hear the story of David going to Char-Grill on a visit to Raleigh, goofing up a bit while ordering and how Andy's daughter Alexa got him with a good zinger. It's hilarious. As always this episode is chocked full of comedy and laughs so please enjoy. 

This is part 2 of last week's podcast. We pick up where Andy and David left off, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. David takes us to The Salt Box Cafe where he accidentally insults the chef only to have a sit down conversation with him. Then David breaks into the Wright Brothers Memorial, thus celebration 100 years of America's state parks. And finally David goes to Stack 'Em High Pancakes and So Forth in Kitty Hawk, NC where he gives the Red Flannel a try. This is an hilarious second half of an episode. Enjoy!

This was a long episode broken up into two parts. David and Andy had a great time talking Food and Comedy. David starts us out in Kitty Hawk, NC at the Outer Banks at his favorite Coffee Shop, The Outer Bean. Then he has a Cuban sandwich at The Outer Banks Taco Bar. Andy finally talks about his favorite restaurant in the town he grew up in, The Home Place Restaurant in Lincolnton, NC. And on his way to his next gig Andy couldn't help but make a quick stop at the infamous Carswell Bakery where the Cheese Rings are Spicy and insanely delicious. This is a great part 1 episode. We're back! Andy and David actually took vacations and from their horrendous schedules (wink wink) and ate at some awesome places while resting. David starts us out in Estes Park, Colorado at Bob & Tony's Pizza where he went not once but twice with the family. Then Andy heads into the Mountains of North Carolina to Chimney Rock where he and the family enjoyed some sandwiches at Medina's Village Bistro. David then takes us back to Estes Park for an hilarious experience at the Estes Park Pie Shop. (YOU NEED PIE!) Finally Andy reviews two great spots in Lake Lure, NC; an Italian/Pizza place, La Strada at Lake Lure and Scoop Ice Cream that he and the family visited 4 or 5 times. David and Andy are back and talking comedy and food and a few other things. Davis starts us out talking about his years as Dungeon Master, and playing Magic the Gathering all so he can discuss the movie "Warcraft." Andy then takes us to Jack Flaps Luncheonette in Cleveland, OH where he enjoyed a great Breakfast Burrito. Then David takes us back to Austin, TX to Dos Batos (The two idiots) where everything is Wood Fired. This week David and Andy talk about some great places to eat while on the road performing comedy. David starts us off in Galveston, TX where his Mom lives and where he and his sister tried Shykatz Deli. Then Andy not only check's out a great place to eat in Greenville, SC at Mac's Speed Shop, but also finds a killer band in the process called 789. Finally David takes us to the parking lot of a convenient store near his house in Austin, TX where he and the Mrs. ate from a trailer, or more specifically, La Trailá. Don't miss our discussion on adding too many K's to your sandwich's name and the advice, "Don't Drink and Canoe." Enjoy!

This week David and Andy have a blast talking about a breakfast spot in Florida, a whirlwind trip to New York, and some enormous Pizza in Virginia, all while performing the comedy. Andy starts us out in Fredericksburg, VA where he finds one of the sister restaurants to Benny Marconi's, and that was Benny Vitali's where you can get the "Virginia Slice" which is more than enough to keep you full. David then takes us to NEW YORK CITY where he and the family tried Sticky's Finger Joint and all of their many sauces. Finally Andy heads back to Port Charlotte, FL to Sweet's Diner for breakfast where he enjoyed "The Pile Up." (OK, the "The Half Pile Up.") And be sure and listen as Andy talks to himself, trying to convince him to stop ordering more than one Slice at a Benny's location. Enjoy!

We are back and chocked full of laughs and food. This week we start out in Wichita Kansas where David takes us to a great Mexican place for breakfast, Lina's Mexican Restaurant. His friend Josh Krause convinces him to order the "Krause" and you should too. After a stop in Thayer, KS and the "Unstable" Bar David heads over to Chanute, KS for some more Mexican faire at El Pueblito Mexican Restaurant. Andy then takes us into the mountains of Charleston, West Virginia where he enjoyed some great Chicken and Waffles at Black Sheep Burrito. Then as he headed home he went out of his way to enjoy some of the best ribs ever at The Galax Smokehouse in Galax, VA. We talk about how David is too tall to hang and Andy shares a story about an audience member who gets mad at him because he doesn't drink. Ahh drunkards, they're idiots. Enjoy!

We're back, and this time we are eating and performing TOGETHER. Andy and David were in Williamsburg, VA a few weeks ago and talked about the shows and David's Mom and Sister and family and all the great places they went to eat. First we started out with a slight miscommunication at Maurizio's but it was delicious nonetheless. Then we woke up and headed to The Smokey Griddle Pancake House for some awesome Country Fried Steak. Next we had some excellent sandwiches at 2nd Street Bistro. Finally we finished out the weekend with cinnamon swirl pancakes at the Astronomical Pancake House. We had a blast that weekend and great time doing this show. Lots of laughs. Enjoy.
